Our Garden

The garden is a true haven of greenery.

You'll find the perfect spot to match your mood — whether it’s an open space on a wide lawn or a more intimate corner nestled behind a hedge. Planted with century-old trees, the property has, since its origin, been enriched with a wide variety of species: magnolia, ginkgo biloba, honey locust, oak, linden, yew, acacia… and many more.

All of them are watched over by two majestic laricio pines, soaring over 30 metres into the sky. The plane trees, once the dominant species, sadly disappeared due to a fungus that decimated them within a few years. They have since been replaced by a rich and diverse range of trees: ash, maple, hackberry, elm, hornbeam, parrotia, alder, tulip tree — all adding to the unique palette of this vibrant garden.

The Pool — designed like a natural pond

Surrounded by a stone border made of Estaillades limestone, it invites you to spend hours lounging in a deckchair under the shade with a good book, or sunbathing on the terrace. Dip in to cool off… then pick up where you left off in your reading.

The Orangery — one of the garden’s little gems

Decorated with its original wrought ironwork, this charming outbuilding hosts a lush variety of plants that love warmth and sunlight, protected from the wind. It’s the perfect spot for a nap in a generous armchair — unless, of course, you’d prefer to come here to find inspiration and write a letter.

The Vegetable Garden — ever-changing with the seasons

Depending on the time of year, you’ll discover a beautiful variety of seasonal crops. And you’ll be welcome to pick your own herbs to flavour your cooking: thyme, rosemary, sage, fennel, verbena… Surely a far more delightful experience than using supermarket-dried herbs!
pouvoir cueillir vous-même les aromatiques qui viendront agrémenter votre cuisine : thym, romarin, sauge, fenouil, verveine… assurément, c’est un autre plaisir que le sachet d’herbes sèches du supermarché !
